Reading Rocks!

Today Adrian came to school to talk about Reading. He was really funny. This is what we thought about the show:
The funniest part for me was when he dropped all the juggling balls and went cross eyed.
It was funny when he picked Sam because he said funny things to him and was pretending to have a fight with Darth vayda.
My favorite part was when he dropped the balls and he said that he had five balls but he actually had four.
I think the funniest part was when he was pretending to be in a cinema eating popcorn.
He came to tell us that reading was one of the best life skills you could have
It also helps you with your spelling
I like the funny bit when he said peeweee.

Tuatara's Cloak

We read a story called Fifty-Five Feathers by Ben Brown and Heather Taylor. It is about a gecko who is cold and Pukeko helps to collect feathers from all the NZ native birds in the forest to make a cloak to keep him warm.
At Mt Bruce we learned about NZ birds and Tuatara so we made cloaks for the tuatara in our art.

I felt scared because I thought I was going to mess up- Maia B

I was ok standing up and smiling at the crowd because I knew that the crowd would like it even if I did something wrong- Maia S

I am really proud of all of you All Stars. You all worked extremely hard to remember your part and get your costumes and props ready. I also loved how you all had lots of fun on stage. Tino pai rawa!!!!- Ebony

The pirates crept up to the fence and then crept to the back of the house. But a Robot Security Mouse saw them coming and squeaked "Intruder Alert" Granny was worried. Milo rushed over to see robber but it was a pirate. Milo was extremely freaked out. He ran to his granny and said all about the pirates. Granny rushed inside and came out with her old army clothes and her gun and guarded the treasure and Milo guarded it too. Milo got a mouse trap and put it by the treasure. The pirates went to get the treasure and stepped in the mouse trap "Yowww!" The pirate ran away and Milo and granny lived happily ever after.

Spy Dog...Series 3- By Liam

Its another dangerous mission for Agent B and B again. The neighbour as usual asking for burgers but now he was asking for a banana. Maybe he just likes you said Agent Biscuit or he might have a girl friend with a last name called...bananas. Probably not "HES FAR TOO UGLY!" Ok Then he is obviously being hypnotised. "Hipnotised" they shouted together. Hey did you notice the really good looking head band said Agent Biscuit. "Boys don't wear headbands noodle, and plus it is not the time to be thinking of head bands". Lets go and check out the neighbours sheep said bananas. It is about time we sorted this sheep problem. "Ok" said Agent Biscuit. You can see them from here. He only lives beside us! Ooh yeah right said Bananas. I told you so. The sheep must have heaps of wool that slides off and goes onto peoples heads and mind controls them. Lets shave that sheep. It really needs a haircut. So they shaved and shaved and shaved the sheep until it was bare and chucked the wool in the bin so it couldn't get out.

Agent Biscuit and Bananas...Series 2!

The agents were on a dangerous mission. They had to defeat the cow with exploding cow pats on their day off. They brought a motorbike and rifle for Agent Biscuit, an upgrade for their base and a guitar for Agent Biscuit cos he thinks he can play guitar. They went out to feed there cows a when they realised they were at the second to last one. The Last cow had red eyes and pooped. Agent Banana's went to pick up the poo when it exploded he flew across the sky and landed in a pit of normal cow pat. Then their neighbour came over and helped get agent bananas out of the cow pat and asked for a burger and Agent Bananas said NO! They were just gas bagging when Agent Biscuit found a Body-tricks in the place where the poo exploded. He clipped it onto his collar. The first thing he turned into was a cat. Then he went to see Agent Bananas. Agent Bananas said "Where is Agent B" Then his neighbor said "Can I have a burger?" Then both of them said NO! Bananas asked Biscuit "where did you learn to do that?". Biscuit explained that he found a Body Tricks and then they found the Cow with the exploding cow pats and put the poo in the bin. It was a bit tricky to catch and they got covered in poo. So they went home for a bath. Then the neighbour came in and asked " Can I have a bath?" and the Agents said NO!

Today we had a problem...we had to have reading time because we have been busy with production yesterday, but we still wanted to have DT. So we solved the problem by doing it at the same time. We had to manage our selves and our volume. Here some things we did.

Once upon a time there was a dog and a person, but no ordinary person and dog. They were spys. They worked for the D.P.A. That stands for Dog and Person Agency. Their names are Agent Biscuit and Agent Bananas, or Agent B and Agent B again! Their biggest enemy was teachers. Also known as the stinkers, except one that is in Room 11 cause shes the boss of the D.P.A. They had a very unusual base and heaps of enemies. Their day of was Saturday and Sunday and they worked the weekdays...

T'gen writes about the Thunder and Lightning

The lightning was loud. I woke up. Jay'd and Hirani and me were awake and Tyrell was asleep and then the power turned off.

On Saturday, there was a storm. My dad woke just me up because my little sister Abby was asleep. Daddy took me into the lounge and I got to see lightning and hear the thunder. Lightning is as white as a ghost, but not see through. I think thunder is two clouds crashing together. We turned of the light and the lightning glowed.

Georgias Special Project

I read a book about dinosaurs. It was called I dig dinosaurs. I got an idea to make the dinosaur mobile. You need to get some paper and draw some dinosaurs. Then you cut them out. Then Ebony laminated them for me so they were strong. Then I hole punch them. Then I tied them on some old pencils with some string.

Sick, sick, sick!!!
