Bella explains how shadows move

How our shadows moved

We looked at our shadows changing over a day. Here is what we observed. Where was the sun at each photo? Where do you think our shadows might be later?

A Wonder Wall?

WALT: identify shadows

We drew around our shadows when we stood in interesting positions. It was hard to try and make the shape of other peoples shadows. Then Ebony told us to lie down in our shadows. We wondered why our shadows were much taller than we were?

DT-Week 3

WALT: show integrity
We know that means to take turns, share, use manners, say please and thankyou.

Cross Country

At the Cross Country it was the real race. I felt nervous because Grace's Dad tried to beat me. But with every cross country practice I came first so I felt not to bad. The horn went and off, I went too. Roslind was in front of me so I went a little bit fast and then I slowed down when I was in front of her. I was coming first because I was in front of everyone.

Go Jets!

Heaps of people from our class went to the Jets Basketball game on Saturday night. They got lots of Free Throws. Rob did a big dunk. I liked how they played the drums at half time. We love the Jets. The Auckland pirates won but the Jets are still good.

Today we had a surprise visitor. Ronald McDonald came to tell us a story of his missing sock. He sang songs and told us about how to stay safe in the car, on the footpath and on the road.  He was very funny and even did some magic. Write a comment about what your favourite part was.
