Discovery Time...and reading time!
Today we had a problem...we had to have reading time because we have been busy with production yesterday, but we still wanted to have DT. So we solved the problem by doing it at the same time. We had to manage our selves and our volume. Here some things we did.

Spy Dog- By Liam
Once upon a time there was a dog and a person, but no ordinary person and dog. They were spys. They worked for the D.P.A. That stands for Dog and Person Agency. Their names are Agent Biscuit and Agent Bananas, or Agent B and Agent B again! Their biggest enemy was teachers. Also known as the stinkers, except one that is in Room 11 cause shes the boss of the D.P.A. They had a very unusual base and heaps of enemies. Their day of was Saturday and Sunday and they worked the weekdays...

Production Post!
Here are some reflections for what we learned today from our production preparation!
Production Preparation Stage 1 on PhotoPeach
I learned how to make a mountain out of a big ball- Hannah
I learned that you have to do three layers before you can do texture- Katelyn
I learned that texture was a big ball of newspaper- Bella
I learnt tips for making paper mache- Jacob
I learnt to flatten the paper out when you stick it so its not curvy because otherwise it would be hard to put the next layer on- Georgia T
I learned that it is helpful if you have two or three buddies to do it because it takes less time as you work as a team- Maia S
I learned that if you work as a team it doesnt take as long- Maia B
I learned from my buddy that you have to do the paper mache like a puzzle- Grace

The Super Smile Shop
For one of our wiki activities in Loving Literacy we had to make a smile for the Smile Shop like the one in this weeks Big Book "The Super Smile Shop" by Joy Cowley. Maia S even made one for Ebony!
WALT: Identify 2D and 3D shapes
We found some shapes from around the room and put them into two groups, 2D and 3D. Do you know the shape names for some of the 3D objects? Is it a cylinder, sphere, cube, rectangular prism, pyrimid?
