Ti Rakau

This week we have been learning a song called E papa Waiari because next week at the marae some of us will be learning the actions with sticks/rakau.

Here is the song words and tune for you to practice. THere is also a clip of other kids doing the actions as well.



Digital Dudes: Learn the words you stuck into your poem book today. If you want, roll up some magazines and have a go at the actions.

    Digi dudes, I remember doing that rakau song when I was about your age. (I am sure many of the parents will too.) I am excited to see you do it at the Marae next week. You will need to learn the words very well so you can do the actions at the same time.
