Water as a SOLID!

Last Thursday during DT we filled some rubber gloves up with water and put them in the freezer to see what happens. Today we got them out to see what they looked like.

Some of us had some new questions that we would like to know the answer to.
Does water take up the same space as a solid and a liquid?

  1. In dicavery time we made ice hands. the ice hands were freezing some of the fingers fell off I liked the hands because they are colder then the fingers.

  2. The big hand was really cold like a white polar bears.What wanted happen if we put really hot water in the rubber gloves?It mite pop because it is so hot.

  4. Wow I wished I made those ice hands because it looked fun. The fingers broke of the ice hands which looked cool for me. What temperature would the ice hands be?

    Wow the ice was rely rely cold there were different shapes and some fings came off.

  6. wow the ice was really cold and when I put the ice on my fingers it felt like that there was a house amgened it in my brain. but when i holded the finger of ice it made me want to pass it over
